Story

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.

We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.

I have been closely involved in the work of The Brain Tumour Charity over the last decade, both as an employee and as a supporter, and have seen first hand the devastating impact of a diagnosis.

I will be running 1000km before the end of December 2024, it will be a mix of locally running in my area and some organised events (like 10km, half marathons etc). I promise I won't be walking any of it...but I am also not a fast runner, so if you're looking for pace this is the wrong project to support!

I will share updates of my progress each month, and would be hugely grateful for any donations that people can spare during this challenging time.
