Hi! In April I’ll be running the London Marathon alongside my sister for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. We’ll be running for our incredible Dad, who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2023. Having always run with our Dad growing up, with him always inspiring and motivating us to push ourselves further, the marathon feels like the perfect way to raise money for a cause that now means so much to us. Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the UK’s leading lung cancer charity. Since 1990, they have invested millions of pounds into essential lung cancer research and into the early detection of the disease. The charity also runs numerous campaigns, with a focus on destigmatising the disease as a ‘smokers disease’, promoting increased screening whether or not you have a history of smoking.
