Story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I am hoping to raise funds for the Multiple System Atrophy Trust in memory of my Dad, Billy. MSA is a rare and life limiting neurodegenerative disease which currently has no cure.
I have set the challenge of running the River Ayr Ultra Marathon. I’ve had a few big runs this year but this will be the longest distance. Covering 40miles (64km) from Glenbuck back to Ayr.
The MSA Trust is the sole charity providing support to over 3,500 people affected by MSA in the UK and Ireland. The Trust provides support on all aspects of living with Multiple System Atrophy from symptom management, emotional support and advocacy to combating isolation.
We receive no government funding; the MSA Trust is funded entirely by voluntary donations. Therefore, we are asking you to donate the cost of your brew so that we can continue providing free support and information services to all those whose lives are affected by Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). The average cost of of posh coffee is £3.00, which will go a long way in helping us support the MSA community.
Your generosity contributes to funding these vital services and resources, and is much appreciated.
