Built by the Hurst community, since it opened in 2021, Cameron’s Orphanage has been more than just another children’s home. For twelve of the world’s poorest children in Zambia, it has provided their first sense of family, a chance to feel loved and cared for, and meant no longer going to bed hungry.

More importantly, they finally have their first chance to dream of a better life and hope for a fulfilled future, as this tiny charity is committed to breaking the poverty cycle. Through education and appropriate nurturing, it is intended to enable these children, and those who follow, to become successful adults with a sense of community and responsibility. We are raising money to support the running of the orphanage and the development of these children.

This fundraiser is set up in order to raise money for Cameron’s Orphanage, specifically to fund new desks which will help educate those attending the school and living in the orphanage. Any donations will be greatly appreciated! Every penny raised goes directly to the orphanage, there are no administrative costs.
