We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Sam and I sailed together from 1986 until not long before his death in September 2023, and we continued to sail our 33ft yacht, Kalessin of Orwell, despite Sam's stroke in 2012.

We always wanted to sail around Britain together but after his stroke Sam couldn't get in or out of a dinghy which would have ruled out many locations. Now I'm planning to do the trip in his memory and to support the Stroke Association which did so much to help us.

I also hope to complete a short (5km?) run at each harbour, where conditions and time permit.
