There are 1.5 million people in the UK with a learning disability. To support the national charity, Hft Sussex Manager, Oana and Deputy Manager, Camille are taking on their 1.5 Challenge to raise awareness and to support learning disabled people. For 15 days in August, we are walking 1.5 miles for the 1.5 challenge. The funds raised will go towards an accessible car, for the learning disabled people, to enable them to access activities in the wider community.

Without funding, learning disabled people do not have the chance to access opportunities that enable and empower them to be seen, heard, and to live the best lives possible.

Despite the challenges facing social care, with your help we can make sure learning disabled adults can live the best lives possible. A life where they can be seen, heard and thrive.
