Story

Camille was born with an ASD (hole in the heart), which in the early 1980's the main resolution was open heart surgery. As a child was advised not to exercise as this could cause complications and without the surgery she couldn't potentially not lead a long life. Camille had surgery in 1998 which changed her life and enabled her to live life to the fullest.

Being told not to exercise as a child was baffling, however she ended up captaining the hockey & netball team, entering swimming competitions and doing everything she could to be healthy. Flash forward to modern life, Camille believe's we can achieve what we put our mind to, with the right preparation, training and nutrition. In April Camille ran the London Marathon.

Next is Eastbourne 2.4 mile swim with a jump in from eastbourne pier - this time Camille & Antje are both taking on the challenge, in a bid to raise a whopping £10,000 in 2024 for Rockinghorse Children's Charity.

We have chosen to partner with Rockinghorse Children's Charity, this is a charity close to Camille's heart as her daughter was treated at the The Royal Alex Children’s Hospital in 2014, their support during their time at the hospital kept the family sane and gave hope during a truly challenging time.

As the MD of The Float Spa in Hove, we will be hosting events during the year to help reach our ambitious target of £10,000. So please give generously.

Since 1967 they have supported nearly a million children with lifesaving medical equipment, support for families, environments and spaces for children and additional staff.
