Camino for Vinnie Camps

We (James, Kevin, Paul and Esther) will be walking about 200km of the Camino Portuguese, from Porto in Holy week raising funds for the Vinnie Camps.

SVP Vinnie Camps in the UK are summer holiday camps run by the St Vincent de Paul Society. They are designed mainly for children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to go on holiday, giving them a week filled with fun, outdoor activities, and supportive mentoring.

We have seen first-hand the transformative effect these camps can have on the lives of young people. The experience helps them build confidence, make new friends, and create positive memories that can last a lifetime.

This year we will be

volunteering on a Vinnie Camp in Wales, and all the money raised will go towards helping cover the costs for young people to attend the week. Your support will help make this opportunity possible for children who may not otherwise get the chance to take part.
