In addition to being a renowned Musician and Irish Cultural Ambassador, my late father, Paddy Moloney (Founder and Leader of The Chieftains), was a dedicated family man. He adored his wife, Rita, and his children, Aonghus, Padraig and myself - Aedín. And doted on his Grandchildren. We were blessed to have had a loving and kind Dad. He was full of fun, and went above and beyond to provide for us and give us a happy childhood.

Throughout his life, my Dad had a lot of time for all children and young people. And all were devoted to him in return. In his memory, I am raising money for the ISPCC, while walking a 180 kilometer pilgrimage through Galicia, Spain. Please support me in my endeavors by DONATING HERE TO THE ISPCC, IN PADDY'S NAME.

On September 20th 2023, I will start my journey from OIA to SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA. In his memory, I will be walking "El CAMINO ESPIRITUAL" - and like my father - it will be down a road less travelled. I'm making this journey to remember Paddy's life and his legacy. I'm aiming to mirror the steps my father took with his pioneering research to unearth the connections through music and poetry between Ireland, Galicia, Brittany, Scotland and beyond....Years of exploration culminated with his creating The Chieftains album, "Santiago".
