Story
The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance responded when Glen had a very bad cycling accident and while he cannot ever repay what he owes them, it is hoped this fundraising helps show appreciation for that day and for all the work they do – they truly are a life-saving Charity.
Some fab workmates are forming a fundraising team to cycle the 100km from our work HQ in Canary Wharf to the Air Ambulance base in North Weald and back.
Our team is currently Glen, Kirsten, Matt and Ryland and our employer will match any funds we raise, up to £1,000 each, so please sponsor us if you can.
The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance have published Glen’s story online and will include an article in the forthcoming quarterly Newsletter.
The Air Ambulance truly are a life-saving Charity kept airborne thanks to everyone who plays our lottery, makes a donation, enjoys our events, fundraises and volunteers in aid of the Charity.
Our aim is to save lives, reduce or prevent disability, or suffering from critical illness and injury, by delivering a first class pre-hospital emergency medical service to the people of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
