Story
Five Acre Wood school is a specialist provision who provide an education for children and young people with Profound, Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties. They rely heavily on fundraising and donations to complete new projects which will benefit all children who attend.
Currently, the sensory garden has been deemed unsafe and therefore is not available to any of the students. My son is one of many, whom this affects on a daily basis. Everyday on the way to school, Jaxon will read:
Sensory garden is closed.
It breaks my heart to hear the sadness in his voice.
The school have fantastic plans to make this a fully accessible and enjoyable space for all the children who attend ranging from 4-19 years with varying needs. Their plan is to create a sensory garden to mimic each season of the year and ending with magical dragon and fairy garden.
Together with my best friends, Becki and Laura, we will be climbing Mount Snowdon. We hope to raise as much funds as possible to help make this vision a reality. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference. We want to thank you in advance for your support .

With love,
Candis, Becki and Laura ❤️
