Raising £50,000 to help people who are homeless this Winter.

Story

The Canterbury Academy is raising money for Catching Lives through our charitable Christmas Market, taking place on Friday 24th November in our main hall from 4.30pm-7pm.

We are also holding a shoebox appeal where we ask people to donate items from Catching Lives wish list. Items from the list, or complete shoeboxes, can be given to main reception and will be delivered to the charity during w/c 11th December.

We're a small homelessness charity working across East Kent. Our day centre in Canterbury is open 7 days a week providing a friendly welcome, basic facilities (food, laundry, shower), support including mental health workers, and activities such as arts, table tennis and gardening. We also do street outreach and tenancy sustainment. Our aim is to offer a safe, inclusive space and help people move towards personal recovery and independent living.
