“Can You Hear Me Major Tom?” Aberlour affiliated short film premiere

Can You Hear Me Major Tom Short film is raising money for Aberlour – Scotland’s children’s charity

Charity supported short film premiere

1 in 4 children are living in poverty in Scotland. That isn’t right. Not all children are born with an equal chance. We know that by working together we will beat poverty and discrimination. With your help, we will reach more children and their families earlier, before it’s too late.

Story

In aid of Aberlour Children’s Charity

We’re proud to announce that, alongside the release of Can You Hear Me Major Tom?, we are partnering with Aberlour Children’s Charity to raise funds supporting children, young people and families across Scotland.

Can You Hear Me Major Tom? follows an astronaut busker and a lonely boy who discover an unexpected connection on a planet they believe to be alien. At its heart, the film is a story about loneliness, connection, and the importance of being seen, heard and understood.

These themes are at the heart of why our partnership with Aberlour is so meaningful.

Aberlour is a Scottish children’s charity supporting disadvantaged children, young people and families affected by poverty and discrimination. Across Scotland, they provide practical and emotional support to people facing difficult circumstances, helping them navigate challenges and build brighter futures.

Our film explores what can happen when two people who feel alone find one another. Aberlour works every day to ensure that children, young people and families facing difficult circumstances don’t have to face them alone.

As part of the film’s release, we’re inviting audiences to take its message beyond the screen by supporting Aberlour’s vital work.

Every contribution, whatever the amount, can help make a difference.

Thank you for supporting Major Tom — and for helping us turn a story about connection into an opportunity to create connection in the real world.
