This year, myself, Ruairidh and Richard will run the Great Scottish Run to raise money for the Courtyard Pantry in the North of Glasgow. This organisation is close to my heart - I first became aware of the amazing work they do, while carrying out a research project into grassroots responses to food insecurity.

The Courtyard Pantry supports individuals and families by providing breakfast clubs, community meals, as well as access to healthy foods at a low cost via the pantry hub. The organisation aims to reduce the impact of poverty by providing sustainable opportunities into employment via their social enterprise cafe and through work placements.
