Pilgrimage 2025 · 23 May 2025 to 26 May 2025 ·

The 35th 74-mile Annual Pilgrimage organised by The Connection at St. Martins, walking from St. Martins in London to Canterbury Cathedral is on. The walk will be taken place in late May Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday 23rd May - Monday 26th May 2025).

Story

Every year for decades, St Martin in the Fields has walked a pilgrimage, over 70 miles, from the steps of our church on Trafalgar Square to Canterbury cathedral.

We do this to raise funds for The Connection, which is our full-service (and very busy) charity to help the homeless. They do good work .

Some of you may be aware of the work I do every month to provide laundry for homeless refugees and asylum seekers. It is the Connection's laundry room that I use for this valuable ministry.

I'm not walking all four days of the pilgrimage this year, but I am walking the day, from Charing to Canterbury, about 19 miles.

(My wife is walking the whole 74 miles!)

Support us donating. All funds raised go directly to the charity.

Just to update: I've finished the walk and many dozens of people also walked the entire four days. I'll be keeping this page up for a few more days.
