Car 48 (Team 'Mark Glen') is once again competing in the 2025 Rhino Charge. Mark Glen has participated for over 25 years in this annual event; together with his team has fundraised over $500,000 to date! Please consider supporting their 2025 effort to raise more than ever for this amazing cause!
The Rhino Charge is a unique and exciting annual off-road 4x4 competition held in Kenya in which entrants are required to visit 13 checkpoints while travelling the shortest possible distance across difficult, trackless terrain where speed is not a necessity and is in fact penalised.
To prevent adverse environmental impact, entries to the event are limited to 65 vehicles and Rhino Ark fully offsets the event's carbon footprint making it carbon neutral.
Rhino Ark raises money for the building of electric eco-fences around mountain ecosystems in Kenya, namely Aberdare National Park, Mt. Kenya and Mau Eburu . This provides an "ark" for wildlife such as rhino, leopard, elephant and mountain bongo but also safeguards vital upland water table habitats for Kenya.
