The Rhino Charge is an offroad 4x4 event where the cars and drivers work with their team to get their car around the course in the shortest possible distance. The funds raised go towards the protection of Kenya's water tower ecosystems.

Our obsession with the charging and fundraising for Rhino Ark started in 2017, when Jake and Tor did their first Hog Charge (a kids' version of the Rhino Charge done on bikes). Three years in a row we were the top fundraisers, totalling almost 1 million KSH across the years. This was over 10 times the amount that we were meant to raise.
Then was the Elephant Charge- the Zambian version of the Rhino Charge- raising money for conservation initiatives in Zambia. In September 2025, we drove our trusty Charge car from Kenya to Zambia and competed as the youngest team and only one of three international teams. Again, we went above expectations and, raising over nine times as much as the minimum and we raised the fourth highest amount of all teams! In addition we won the prize for most spirited team and Best International Team.
In 2024, Tor participated in the Rhino Charge for Car 27, as one of the youngest participants in the whole Charge with his team raising more than 1.2 million KSH.
We are the only team who have competed in the Rhino Charge, Elephant Charge and Hog Charge. We do this because we care about protecting Kenya's water tables and wildlife but also because we love a challenge and The Rhino Charge is one of the world's most challenging off-road events!
We have strong faith in Rhino Ark and the work they do- having seen directly the benefits of their work. And we know that they are one of the few charities where more than 98% of the funds go directly to the cause- with minimal administrative costs. Because of this, we are pledging at the highest entry level and are hoping to surpass the 1.5million KSH minimum.
