Story
My name is Cara, I am not the fittest person at all, but I am try to show my daughter that if you put your mind to something you can do it,
My daughter is 9 and suffers with anxiety, she worries about everything and this holds her back it life, as parents we have had to have outside help to get her through. I want to show her anything is possible. Yes its scary, but it will be all worth it when I cross that line.
Unfortunately we have all lost friends to mental health issues, they didn’t know where to turn in their life, But now we have the resources like the MIND CHARITY that helps so many people.
This is going to be so hard for me mentally and definitely physically, but every step I take it will be one more step towards helping someone that needs it.
On 4th and 5th July 2026 Team Moto will take on the Peak District Ultra Challenge, in support of our national charity partner, Mind.
The Team will hike across the idyllic Peak District in a 2 day 100 km challenge (that’s 62 miles!) with camping half way or a 1 day 50 km distance option (well over marathon distance at 31 miles!).
All funds raised for this challenge will go to Mind so that they can work towards a future where we can all get quality mental health care when we need it.
Even though 1 in 4 people have mental health problems, most of us don't get the help we need.
This has to change.
Moto Foundation is partnered with Mind to fight for mental health. For support for respect, for you.
Thank you for your support.
