Follow live updates from Ewood Park as Cardiff face Blackburn in the Carabao Cup third round It's been a fantastic couple of weeks for Cardiff City.
After securing a well deserved win over bitter rivals Swansea City in the South Wales derby, victories over Coventry City and Sunderland have elevated Erol Bulut's men to seventh in the Championship table. Tonight, attention turns to the League Cup, with the Bluebirds taking the long trip up to Lancashire to take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
It seems highly likely that Bulut will tinker with his side for tonight's clash, particularly ahead of the visit of Rotherham United on Saturday, but there will still be no shortage of incentive to claim a fourth straight win in all competitions. There's also the small matter of a place in the next round of the Carabao Cup, where one of the Premier League big boys could well lie in wait.
As ever, you can follow all the latest from Ewood Park throughout the evening with our live blog below. Blackburn Rovers v Cardiff City kick-off time, TV details and team news

Team news
Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson looks set to be without Ryan Hedges for some time after he limped off against Ipswich Town at the weekend. The winger, who came on at half-time, lasted just eight minutes after sustaining an ankle knock. Hedges' injury could hand an opportunity to Dilan Markanday, who replaced him at Portman Road.
Cardiff could ring the changes, with their squad now deeper than in previous seasons. Josh Bowler and Callum O'Dowda have missed the last few matches with their respective injuries and are still believed to be returning to full fitness. Aaron Ramsey missed the trip to Sunderland at the weekend and will unlikely be risked in the cup.
What have the managers said?
Jon Dahl Tomasson: “I think we can agree that we could’ve scored six or seven goals (against Ipswich) if you look at the chances. It was an open game for each team, there was lots of entertainment. Coming here and creating that amount of chances, I am really satisfied. Of course, the first half I am not happy with.
