Story

We are thrilled to share that Jayne Leary has qualified for a Good for Age place in the iconic London Marathon, taking place on the 27th of April, 2025! This is not just a race; it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

As she prepare for this incredible journey, we want to use this participation to raise funds for Matthew’s House, an initiative of The Hill Church Swansea. This charity is dedicated to providing Hospitality and Hope to those in need, particularly the homeless and most vulnerable in our community. Matthew’s House is a warm and welcoming space in the heart of Swansea, where everyone is embraced regardless of their background or circumstances. Through their quality pay-as-you-feel café and essential support services, they truly make a difference in people’s lives.

We understand that asking for support can be challenging, especially during these times. However, we believe that together we can create positive change. We are kindly asking any colleagues, friends, and family to consider sponsoring Jayne on her journey. Every contribution counts and will go directly towards the vital work of Matthew’s House. Her target is £400, but any amount you can afford would be immensely appreciated. Let’s come together to spread hope and hospitality!
