Story
In 2021 my wife Lucy was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went on to get the all clear only for it to come back as a stage 4 diagnosis as the cancer had spread.
After receiving the stage 4 diagnosis we were put in contact with St Richards. During what was the hardest experience of my life for myself and the kids St Richards were an incredible support for Lucy, myself, the children and all the family.
The staff there are all the most genuine loving, caring people you can meet. During those final couple of weeks where Lucy went in to one of the beautiful refurbished rooms, they made a horrific situation that little bit more bearable with how well we were all looked after.
With continued counselling for the family and the kids after, I cant thank them enough from the bottom of my heart.
That is why I am running the London Marathon raising money in memory of Lucy to try and give back a small part of what they deserve so that others get the same support we did.
If you are in a position to make any donation it really will be so appreciated by myself and St Richards.
