I'm Skydiving for PASIC

Skydive for PASIC May 2025 · 11 May 2025 ·
As you're probably aware, our son Dexter is just emerging from a touch of bone cancer. Dex has been through radiotherapy and chemotherapy at both QMC and City Hospital's in Nottingham and has come through it after long months of intensive treatment. He's one of the lucky ones.
Throughout his stay in hospital, he and us as a family have received incredible support from a host of dr's, nurses, consultants, pharmacists, various acronyms and not least organisations such as PASIC, and we're attempting to give just a little back. Nothing will ever repay the hard work and kindness that people have shown us, but we can try.
So how to give back? The knees need WD40 so a marathon is out. Abseiling down a building seems like a challenge but why go down 400ft gradually when you can go 14,000 feet rapidly? So I’m doing a tandem parachute jump on May 11th. And bricking it faster than I’ll fall.
Times are hard, I don't blame anyone for scrolling past, so if you're here, reading and donating, a heartfelt thank you. I'm 42 and haven't faced anything like the hardships these warriors go through at their young ages. Together, we can help these kids and their families face down the toughest battle they'll ever face and emerge victorious.
Please help me reach my target and make a difference to the lives of children with cancer.
