RED RUN 2024 · 23 November 2024 ·

Campaign by Terrence Higgins Trust (RCN 288527)
Join us in Victoria Park on Saturday 23 November for RED RUN. Your fundraising will help us smash HIV stigma, encourage testing and end new cases of HIV in the UK by 2030.

Story

Over the last 12 months Spectrum has done a lot of work educating staff on HIV and supporting staff living with HIV.

We’ve run workshops on HIV treatment through the years, the importance of getting tested regularly and the benefits of using PrEP. We’ve also invited numerous HIV charities to come and speak at events and meet members and currently we’re working alongside HR to create a policy providing support for staff living with HIV.

This World AIDS Day then Spectrum are going one step further and participating in the RED RUN as a team! The RED RUN is an inclusive event welcoming all ages and abilities, and takes the form of a walk or run around Victoria Park in London.

As the Chair of Spectrum, I feel it's important to champion good causes like this. So this year I'm also taking part in the RED RUN and raising money for the Terrence Higgins Trust!

The Terrence Higgins Trust is a nationwide charity that provides services relating to HIV, with the aim to end the transmission of HIV in the UK, support people living with HIV and eradicating the stigma attached to HIV.

Any donation would be gratefully accepted for this really worthy cause.
