Taking on the Challenge for Hull Women’s Aid
On 9th May, my colleagues and I will be taking on a tough multi-discipline challenge in the Peak District to raise funds for Hull Women’s Aid — a charity that does truly life-changing work within our local community.
Over the course of 9 hours, we’ll be kayaking, running/hiking and cycling, pushing ourselves physically and mentally to complete the challenge. It will be demanding, but it is nothing compared to the challenges faced by the women and children supported by Hull Women’s Aid every single day.
Hull Women’s Aid provides safety, refuge, guidance and hope to those experiencing domestic abuse. For many families in our community, they are a lifeline at a time when it is needed most. The compassion, strength and dedication of their team makes a real and lasting difference — helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.
We are aiming to raise as much as possible to support their vital work. Every donation, big or small, will directly help women and children in our local area access the protection and support they deserve.
If you are able to contribute, share our post, or simply encourage us along the way, we would be incredibly grateful. Together, we can help make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for your support.
