Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. After last supporting MS in the 2019 London Marathon I'm dusting off the running shoes to participate in the 2023 Run Bournemouth Weekend Half Marathon (8th October), to support the work of the MS Society.
If you could spare a few pennies in these tough times to support the MS Society and I in this event, we'd really appreciate it.
The MS Society is an amazing organisation helping people live with this painful and unpredictable condition, as well as striving for new treatments' and possible one day a cure.
I've had Family and Friends suffer with this painful and unpredictable condition for which there is no known cure.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think and feel.
Many people may look "normal" to the outsider, but are living every day with the physical and psychological effects of this cruel condition.
Over 130,000 people in the UK have multiple sclerosis (MS), a condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms.
The MS Society is here to help everyone live well with MS.
Every year they reach thousands of people with help and support through their MS Helpline and local groups. They campaign on the issues that matter most to the MS community. And they invest in ground-breaking research to stop MS in its tracks.
Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
