The London Marathon in April marks a year long partnership between Crisis and my architectural practice, Pollard Thomas Edwards, to support their initiatives to end homelessness.

I am proud to design homes for a wide variety of Londoners - our philosophy being that good quality housing for all is the foundation of positive mental and physical wellbeing in our communities. However, I have become increasingly concerned with the lack of affordable accommodation available in the capital - and beyond. Living, working (and especially night running) in London, intensifies your awareness of the very visible rise in people sleeping on its streets.

I hope that this fundraising for the excellent Crisis team can contribute to their helping people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.
