Myself and Wayne are taking part in the 2026 Manchester marathon to raise as much money as possible for Down’s syndrome Manchester

My wife Rachael and myself welcomed our beautiful little girl Willow into the world in October 2025

16 weeks into the pregnancy we received a diagnosis of Downs Syndrome

Down’s syndrome Manchester were there for us offering help and support during this daunting time and also throughout Rachael’s difficult pregnancy

In the short time since our family joined the Down’s syndrome Manchester community, we've already felt a huge amount of support and care giving us great comfort in seeing how they support my family and others too, we could not be prouder to be running for them.

Their support and advice has enabled us to have the best possible start to life with willow

It’s important for myself and Wayne to raise as much money as possible for the charity so they can continue to offer help and support to families having experienced ourselves how much of an impact their tireless work helps families when needed
