Story
In February of this year my beautiful daughter in law Mellisa was diagnosed with Stage 4 diffuse large B cell non Hodgkin’s lymphoma , she had 6 rounds of chemotherapy and was told she is in remission in August.
She is still suffering with health problems due to the chemotherapy drugs but is still a smiling beautiful ray of sunshine so I’ve chosen to attempt to run/walk 100k on September 21st to raise money for this charity.
Melissa said she used Action lymphoma when she was first diagnosed as a resource for a lot and has chosen this charity.
Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer.
We’ve been providing in-depth, expert information and wide-ranging support for over 30 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma. Our work drives improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare of lymphoma.
We’re here for everyone affected by lymphoma. https://lymphoma-action.org.uk/
