Last year, 74,000 households made over 200,000 visits to Feed the Need in Durham's network of food banks. It is estimated that 1 in 7 households in Durham cannot regularly put meals on their table and with inflation and the rising cost of groceries, we anticipate the number of people needing emergency food assistance will continue to rise.
