Story
In April last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was 9 months post partum and absolutely loving life as a mum of 2 incredible kids so this was a huge curve ball, but at first we were told it was early stage and curable... unfortunately my cancer spread very quickly and ended up in my liver and bones. I was officially diagnosed with incurable stage 4 metastatic HER2+ breast cancer. A few days after diagnosis I started the first of 6 gruelling rounds of IV chemotherapy and subcutaneous targeted therapy and I will be on this targeted treatment every 3 weeks for the rest of my life. Throughout this period I ran over 200 miles and continue to run.
CoppaFeel's mission is to spread awareness of breast cancer so that people find it early, allowing it to not only be treatable but curable too.
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for CoppaFeel.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
