Story
Year 2's Enquiry this term is titled 'How can we help?' and we have been thinking about why it is so important to help others less fortunate than ourselves. As a bunch as animal lovers, we decided to fundraise for the Animal Rescue Centre in Bristol. Staff from the ARC recently came in to speak to the class about the important role they play and how our support can make such a difference to the animals lives.
So, we are putting on our baking hats and aprons and are going to bake some scrummy cakes to sell to the rest of the school on Wednesday 21st February. Please help us to support this incredible charity if you can.
Bristol Animal Rescue Centre is Bristol's oldest local animal charity. They have been helping, healing, and homing the city's most vulnerable animals since 1887. They care for thousands of animals every year. From cats to chameleons, and dogs to hedgehogs, they are here for animals when they need them the most.
