Story
The last year has been incredibly tough for me, due to needing to have two rounds of surgery to save my life. Now that I have recovered, I have found strength, bounced back, have returned to work and want to celebrate being alive by doing something crazy and giving back to my workplace which is an amazing cause at the same time.
Jigsaw, Cumbria's only Children's Hospice has a very special place in my heart. I am honoured to work at such an amazing place with the most amazing and supportive colleagues and management who have got me through this extremely difficult time. I now want to give back to show gratitude for their fantastic support and raise as much money as I can to help care for local children with life limiting conditions.
Everyone who knows me knows that I don't do things by halves and so a skydive sounded like the perfect extreme challenge. This is a huge challenge after everything I have been through so please support me and Jigsaw by donating what you can. Jigsaw has a very special place in my heart and has been for the last 5 years that I've worked here, so any donations would mean the world to me and would be greatly appreciated.
Over the last year or so due to my surgeries, all I have felt is pain, anaesthetic and morphine so now I want to feel adrenaline and the wind beneath me.
Please dig deep as I go flying without wings!

The skydive has been book and cancelled 6 times thanks to the good old English weather so I am waiting to rearrange, hopefully for March 2025 - I will let you all know as soon as I have a date!
