The Japanese Akita Welfare Trust (JAWT) is a charity that means a great deal to me. I have volunteered with them and spent many hours caring for the Akitas they rescue. As the UK’s longest-running Akita rescue, JAWT works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Akitas, while educating owners and helping to prevent future surrenders.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide these beautiful dogs with the care, support and second chances they deserve. JAWT’s mission is simple: to ensure every Akita finds a loving home that understands their unique nature. By donating, you can help make that mission possible.
