Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. We are excited to be participating in the ABP Southampton Marathon 2025 to support our school and the F.I.S.H.E.S charity. As funding for schools continues to decrease, the need for additional support has never been greater.

Myself and Bebe, after a few wines, thought it would be a good idea to run a marathon to help support our school. Since this we have managed to rope in one of our very dedicated parents Sam!

Funding for schools is being cut year on year so money from the PTA has never been needed as much as it is now. The money raised will go towards projects that the school would not otherwise be able to have. One of the projects for this year includes completing our pond area to create a vibrant outdoor learning environment for both children and staff.

We also wanted a way for the children to be involved in this fundraiser, so we have set up a sponsored run and this will take place at the Dowds Farm Junior ParkRun in Hedge End in March. The children are challenged to complete the 2km run on Sunday 23rd March. They could also take on the challenge to complete a half marathon or marathon by completing 11 / 21 junior park runs. They are eager to take on this challenge and contribute towards making their school an even better place for learning and growth.

Our goal is to raise £1000 to put together with our other fundraising from the year for these important initiatives, and your support will help to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children.
