Hello, my name is carly and i am volunteering in Uganda in the summer of 2024.

Through Play Action International, we will be transforming an empty field at a local school into a vibrant playground where disadvantaged children can play and learn. The statistics speak for themselves and show that:

- 98% of schools report an increase in attendance after playgrounds are built.

- 74% of children cite 'The Playground' as a reason to attend school.

-83% of teachers saw saw improvements in children’s behaviour and concentration during classes as a result of the playground and play based learning.

This reflects the importance of this project as it shows the positive impact the playground has on the children’s.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to take part in such a life-changing project but we need your help to make it happen. Our target amount is £1,350, and every donation counts towards creating a legacy of play within the local community.
