Myself and Peter are joining the cross Morecambe Bay walk from Arnside to Grange Over Sands on 3rd August. Normally, I take the easy route and donate to charity but this time I am actually getting my fat bum into gear !!!

Some of my former colleagues will remember Tony Hughes, who was a Chief Inspector at Firearms but retired early after being diagnosed with MS a few years ago. Tony is now a Trustee for the Charity and is keen to raise as much money as possible as myself and Pedro.

Morecambe Bay is both beautiful and dangerous and can only be crossed at certain times of the year and under the leadership of the King's Guide to the Sands. It will be tough and I will ache after the walk and during all the training walks. (yet to start lol) However, it won't be as tough as living with MS.
