Support My Walk and Help Change a Child’s Life!

I am excited to share that I will be participating in RunThrough’s 5k in Regent’s Park on Sunday, 13th October 2024, to raise vital funds for Home-Start Ealing.

Why am I doing this?

Well I shall be walking not running, although I do have a goal to be able to run again.

I haven't been able to run for many years now and walking became increasingly more difficult over the last 5-10 years. Following my 12 week stint in hospital last year, coming very close to leaving this world and subsequently having to learn to walk again, I felt this would be a great incentive for me to walk and to increase the distance I can walk, increase my stamina and energy, as well as helping a charity that is very close to my heart.

Why Home-Start Matters

Home-Start supports families facing challenging times in impactful ways. They walk alongside families, helping parents to get back on their feet during the crucial early years of raising a child.
