I will be competing at the British Transplant Games in Sheffield this summer along with other heart and lung transplant patients who were treated at Royal Papworth Hospital.

Various disciplines across the four days. In 2025, the team brought home an incredible 50 medals and the much-coveted 'best heart and lung hospital' trophy.

I am lucky enough to be 4 years post transplant this coming November.

It is only due to the bravery and compassion of my donor family, who had to make such a difficult decision at what was probably the worst time in their lives. And through the dedication, skill, kindness and love of every single member of staff from the Royal Papworth Hospital. Who will continue to monitor and treat me for the rest of my days.
