Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page & taking the time to read my story
In 2011 I heard the worst sentence of my life "I'm sorry but you're here today for me to tell you that you have breast cancer" to say the wind was knocked out of my sails was an understatement
Two surgeries,15 sessions of radiotherapy therapy & 5 years on tamoxifen later I heard the best sentence I've ever heard from my oncologist "you are now officially in remission,go away, have a good life & I hope I never see you again"
Thanks to going for my mammogram mine was found early & thanks to the amazing work & research Breast Cancer Now does myself & many other people are able to receive the treatment & care we need to become breast cancer warriors
As a way of saying thank you & to raise vital funds my self & my colleagues at Boxes of Hope in Holbeach will be taking part in the We Wear Pink in October, along with a fundraising & day I will be walking 31 miles in October
Any donations,no matter how small will be gratefully received by myself & this amazing charity
