Story
Supporting Healing, Honouring Survivors
At the Indian Residential School Survivors Society, we are proud to stand alongside Survivors and their families as they continue their healing journeys. Since 1994, our work has been rooted in care, respect, and cultural understanding, offering counselling, advocacy, and community outreach that help individuals and communities reclaim strength and resilience.
As we take part in Calgary North Star Boxing Saturday on November 14, 2026, we do so with gratitude for the opportunity to raise awareness and support for this vital cause. This sporting event is more than a moment of celebration; it is a chance to lift up the voices of Survivors, honour their experiences, and strengthen the services that make healing possible.
We respectfully ask for your support in helping us reach our fundraising goal of £1,000. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference and helps ensure that Survivors and their families can access the support they deserve. Together, we can continue building a future grounded in dignity, hope, and reconciliation.
