Man on! exists to prevent suicides and enhance wellbeing for adults and young people by providing safe, inclusive, relationship-focussed and trauma-informed environments that remove the stigma attached to mental health.
I first learned about Man on! when someone close to me was affected by suicide and from this I have gone on to learn the extent of the support they provide.
They were founded at the beginning of Lockdown when CEO & founder, Chris Paul saw an even greater need for suicide prevention support. After his own personal experiences with close family members and friends struggling greatly with their mental health, Chris began to support them with online zoom calls. After just a few weeks, it was clear that the need for these support calls was greater than ever imagined, it was here that Man On! expanded and became an official charity in 2020.
Since then they have supported many families across their community and beyond. If you would like to learn more about everything they do please visit their website.
