Story
Thank you so much for visiting my Trek the Great Wall of China page. This is going to be quite a challenging event, trekking over 8 hours a day, ascents and lots of different terrain.
I have worked for and with St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice for 25 years now. I’ve been honoured to be part of the amazing work that goes on there. As I head rapidly towards complete retirement, I want to do one last big fundraising challenge and boy is this going to be a challenge?! I’ve faced the heat of the Sahara desert and the long paths of the Camino but the ascents and descents of the wall are a whole new level of difficulty. To give me the best chance of completing this trek, I’m planning on training by taking on some of the fells in the Lake District over the summer with a seasoned fell walker.
Please dig deep if you possibly can and help us raise as much as possible

Thank you so much for your support and making the long walk (and jetlag!) well worthwhile x
