Carol Tilley’s Annual Charity Walk

If you know Market Harborough, chances are you know Carol Tilley. She’s something of a local legend — and a real force of nature when it comes to raising money for good causes!

For over 50 years, Carol has been fundraising for local charities and good causes, raising an incredible £150,000+ along the way. Every year she organises her famous sponsored walk, choosing a different local charity to support.

This year, she’s walking for Jubilee Foodbank.

And this isn’t just any little stroll… it’s a great 10-mile walk!

The walk starts at The Beerhouse in Market Harborough, heading along the Grand Union Canal from the Waterfront all the way to Foxton, before continuing on to Lubenham. From Lubenham, the route heads back along the road into Market Harborough and finishes where it all began — at The Beerhouse.

And if you happen to see Carol out and about in Harborough, be warned… you’ll probably have a sponsor sheet in front of you before you know it! 😂
