Next April, We’ll be joining a team of Julia’s House supporters to take on an incredible five-day trek along the Great Wall of China. We’ll be hiking across rugged hills and walking for hours each day - it’s going to be a huge challenge, both physically and mentally!

We are fully funding the flights and trip ourselves.

We have pledged to raise £3000 for Julia’s House between us as we train for and undertake this challenge.

Every step will be worth it, because we’re doing it for the children and families cared for by Julia’s House, our local children’s hospice. Julia’s House provides specialist care for children living with life-limiting and complex conditions, helping them and their families make magical moments and lasting memories together.

As Carol is one of the nurses at Julia’s House she knows first hand how the care team bring expert clinical care, fun, laughter and compassion into the lives of the children they support. They also give exhausted parents a vital lifeline, with the chance to take a break, rest and recharge, knowing their child is in safe, caring hands.
