On Father Day, in memory of my amazing Dad, John Slack I’ll be taking part in the Lakesman half distance triathlon. Swimming 1.2 miles, biking 56 miles, running 13.1 miles. I’m hoping to raise some money for Silloth Nursing Home. This is a charity run home. Dad was warmly welcomed and cared for during his short stay and spoke very highly of the home and loved all the staff. It was a god send to us at a very difficult time. Dad felt safe, loved and looked after. This is my 3rd Lakesman and again I’m just hoping to finish in one piece! And raise a little money for a place that I hold dear ❤️
