Alzheimer's has ripped through my family. My dad was diagnosed with Alzhimers at the age of 75 it robbed him of his retirement years! He managed to get by for 11 years with the help of my mother. He was lost to us well before that and again when he passed away. Two years later my precious mum was also diagnosed with Alzhimers. This illness is so cruel it robs you of your loved ones whilst they stands before you.

We need a cure! We need to think about the generations behind us.

This trek will be a physically and mentally challenging but I want to do my bit to raise money and awarness. One day hopefully there will be a cure.
