Story

I’ve got a big birthday coming up this year – 40! I’ve decided to mark the milestone by doing a fundraiser for the RSPCA’s Little Valley Animal Shelter in Exeter.

The last 12 months – in which I lost my beloved cavapoo, Ruby, far too soon at the age of 5, and welcomed cheeky havamalt puppy Harvey into my life – have really emphasised the value of pets, to me and others.

I’m going to do a wingwalk on 1st April and raise as much as possible to help the animals at Little Valley live their best lives. I know what you may be thinking – I’ve been skydiving and bungee jumping, so this is going to be a walk in the park, right? Well, I was in my 20s last time I did anything like that, and I’m nowhere near as brave as I used to be!

I know times are tough for everyone at the moment but if you can donate even a small amount, it would mean so much to me. And if you want to come along to Dunkeswell Airfield on the day and watch, you’d be more than welcome. Thank you x

About the charity

Little Valley Animal Shelter is owned and run by the Devon Branch of the RSPCA and is located on the outskirts of Exeter. We receive no funding from the RSPCA national society towards our day to day running costs, this all has to be met from donations and local fundraising.
