We're excited to be running the Copenhagen Half Marathon to support UK charity Sport In Mind, which is dedicated to improving the lives of people experiencing mental health problems through sport and physical activity.
Through our organised group runs with Earlswood Running Club, we both recognise the impact of running on mental wellbeing, especially during tough times. We know that sport goes beyond mere exercise; it can be a lifeline for those struggling with mental health issues.
By taking part in the Copenhagen Half Marathon, we aim to raise awareness and funds for Sport In Mind's amazing free sports sessions that promote mental wellness and combat social isolation.
We've covered the cost of our half-marathon place through our own donations, so all money raised will go directly to Sport in Mind.
