Walking the Camino for MIND: A Journey That Means Everything to Me

This year, I’m taking on the Camino de Santiago — a challenge that’s physical, emotional, and deeply personal. I’m walking in support of TOGS MIND, a charity that does life‑changing work for people struggling with their mental health.

My motivation for this walk comes from a place of loss. I’ve lost family members to suicide, and the impact of that never really leaves you. Grief settles into your life in unexpected ways, and you learn how important it is to talk, to listen, and to make sure people know they’re not alone.

Walking the Camino is my way of honouring the people I’ve lost, carrying their memory with me step by step. It’s also a way of turning something painful into something hopeful — raising money so that others can get the support they need before they reach a crisis point.

TOGS MIND provides vital services, from helplines to advocacy to community support. Every donation, no matter the size, helps someone feel heard, supported, and valued.

If you’re able to sponsor me, you’ll be helping me complete this journey — but more importantly, you’ll be helping someone else find their way through a dark moment.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for supporting a cause that means the world to me.
