Story
Kanuga has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked there, worshipped there, and raised my family there—through guest periods and simple weekends away. If I had to name one place where I feel closest to my faith, family, nature and to God, Kanuga would be at the very top of that list.
That’s why this matters so much to me.
Right now, Kanuga is doing some important (and honestly, not very glamorous) work to make sure it’s here for generations to come—things like wastewater system upgrades, dam repairs required by the state, and replacing critical HVAC systems to keep spaces safe and comfortable. These are the behind-the-scenes essentials that keep everything running and allow the mission to continue.
Because of these priorities, some visible projects—like cottage renovations—have been delayed. But this work is about faithfulness… making sure Kanuga remains a place of rest, renewal, and community for all who need it.
Today is Kanuga’s Day of Giving, and I’d love for you to be part of it. Every gift supports the care of the property, scholarships for those who otherwise couldn’t attend, and the programs that make Kanuga so special.
If Kanuga has ever meant something to you—or if you believe in spaces that help people connect and reconnect with faith, nature, and each other—please consider giving today.
Thank you for supporting a place that has given so much to so many
